We're looking for India’s most powerful, original stories. This is a national-level contest, open to writers across the country, inviting you to submit your best work. Write a 1000–1500 word story that reflects your unique voice, could also be rooted in Indian emotion, culture, or imagination. Your story could be the one we take to the screen.

Whether it's fiction, based on true events, or something in between - if it matters to you, it belongs in the contest.

• Anyone aged 18 and above
• Open to all backgrounds, professions, and levels of writing experience
• Whether you're an amateur, professional, or someone who’s never shared a story before - you’re welcome

• 1st Prize: ₹2,500 Cash Award
• 2nd Prize: ₹2,000 Cash Award
• 3rd Prize: ₹1,000 Cash Award

What to Submit

• A 1000–1500 word story (about 2–3 pages) on any theme or genre
